Dick Marchbanks is a life-long resident of Oxford, and has been a real estate broker and insurance broker for over 40 years.

He was the first president of the North Central Mississippi Board of Realtors, and served as member of the Lafayette County Planning Commission. He currently serves as chairman of the Oxford-Lafayette Economic Foundation, chairman of the board for Interfaith Compassion Ministry and serves on the board of Oxford University Bank.

He and his wife Marybeth have two children and two grandchildren and are members of College Hill Presbyterian Church. Outside of work, Marchbanks’ hobbies include grilling, cooking, riding his Harley and working in the yard.
